Clear Gmail data

I was just wondering; if I clear the "data" from my Gmail app from within Settings, will I have to re-enter my account info, and lose every thing related to the account from my device? Or will it literally just clear like... old emails? Its taking up almost 60mb and I could really use the free space lol.

if im not mistaken it clears everything but you want have to reinstall you login and all that it just clears all contacts emails everything within gmail

it just "empties" your gmail messages on the phone. you won't have to login or anything again. It will re-sync and you'll be good to go with a bit more free memory.

Oh okay sweet. So I would have to resync my contacts.. just as I thought. Thanks, guys! :D this forum is awesome!
