cheap ebay cases (pending a real case)

I'm holding off on a "real" case but in the meantime I'm looking at the ebay gel/hard rubber cases. Has anyone tried one that will fit the extended battery? I'm assuming all the cases are actually the same. I'm guessing the silicone cases will work just because of the flexibility, but I hate the feel of those cases. I may just try it for $3 or so.
