charging an extended battery ?

I noticed the Tbolt stops charging once the green light comes on. Cause the icon changes and the lightning bolt on it goes away. My question is ... Would it stop charging an extended battery at 1400mAh (original battery)? or does it know to keep charging? or is there some place to change the setting?

Battery capacity is irrelevant, it could be a 20000mAh or 1000mAh, it charges based on voltage.
