Changing Ringtones

Hi All, I had a cool ringtome I got off a soundboard I downloaded. I just clicked and held sound and I got a drop down menu and one of the optio ns was to use as ringtone or something like that. Anyway, I had to reset my device so I got everything back including reinstalling the soundboard but when I click and hold a sound I dont get the menu to appear like I did before. Anyone know how to fix? I'm stuck with the lame ringtones that are part of the phone now...help!

Nobody has seen this? I'm starting to think that my droid is the worst phone ever. I think the free junk phones can have their ring tones changed...but not on a droid?:icon_evil:

Not sure what your problem is. It could be that file is not being reconginzed as a file type that can be used as a ringtone or some other reason. I do know any mp3 files can be used as a ringtone. I am sure that you have already tried to delete this file and reinstall it. I don't know if it will help or know, but you can download a free app called "Rings Extended" and it will allow you to easily pick any mp3 file on your phone and use it as a ringtone.

Hope that helps.

Sounds more like an issue with the soundboard app. Contact the developer of the app, they may have updated it and removed that feature.
