Change hang up from going to call log?

After I hang up the phone goes to the call log screen. When I then go to hit the top button to turn off the screen and put it away I frequently hit one of the items in the call log and make an unintended phone call to them. Is there a way to have the phone go to the home screen after hanging up a phone call? Thanks.

get an app called Not Call Log.

from there you can change it to go back to homescreen or dialer or whatever.
