Cell Phone Position Determines Call Quality?

Hi all.

I've been struggling with bad call quality since I've got my phone. I noticed a few days ago that if I hold my phone a certain way, I get two bars connectivity in the status area constantly, where as if I hold it "normally" I get none to 1 to maybe 2 if I'm really lucky then it goes back down to none.

Is this normal? Should I take it back for a replacement? I love the phone, it's my first cell phone.

Mine is the same i live in the county and no way i get over 2 bars,now in town i dont have this problem with 4-5 bars
