I'm using the smooth blue one from VZW. I originally had the black rubber one but ended up exchanging it for the smooth blue. The black rubberized one would get stuck in my jean pockets and end up pulling my entire pocket out when I went to grab it. I got that one first just because I didn't like the blue color of the smoother one. The blue is starting to grow on me and it slides in and out of my pocket very easily.

i had the blue one from VZW first. didnt fit the phone properly and made it extremely hard to slide open. actually noticed it pushing the phone apart.

? for those with the combo. How tight does the phone fit in the holster? I am hoping I have a bad one but mine fi too loose for my taste. IF I take it and move it the first 1/8' to get it started and hold it upside down it will slide out the holster. I was hoping for a tighter fit like the one on my D2 and I had the same combo for an Iphone that fit tighter.
I just got my Verizon Shell/Holster combo today. I think it's pretty nice. I am coming from an otterbox defender on my last phone, which I loved. This doesn't appear to have the "cushion" feel I liked, but it's well made, fits well and holds securely in the holster without being hard to remove. I am pretty pleased.
It's a pretty tight fit.
The VZW shell/holster combo does add a lot of bulk IMO, especially to the back of the phone. I may go naked except for when I bring it to the gym.

I see the same thing, once the phone is starting to come out, it will. I am thinking the extended battery may tighten up the initial fit just a bit and make it a bit more snug.
One thing I like about the holster combo is the tread pattern - makes it a bit easier to hold on to.
There is a small lip around the top of the holster that the phone "snaps" into when inserted completely.. Once the phone is pulled out beyond that lip, it will slide out pretty easily, and if at that point, it's upside-down, it would likely slide out completely on its own (that's what she said)...

im really enjoying the case/holster combo. I really like the kickstand since i have a broken hand. i can just prop it up and use my good hand to text.
