CardioTrainer - Enabling GPS for tracking distance

I have CardioTrainer version 3.5.2. Currently, the app measures my distance based on number of footsteps * length of stride. I read somewhere that users can use the GPS feature to measure distance. Can someone please tell me how to enable this feature? Thanks.

Go to your phone settings and make sure that the GPS is enabled. (under location and security on my Droid) Then when you open the CT app go to settings and select how fine of a GPS track you want.
