So I left my Droid 2 on the roof of my car (not intentionally!) and it slid off while I made a turn. As I saw it laying on the ground in the middle of the street, the screen was on and looked okay, the housing was just a little scratched. Then a car ran it over. Then another car...
Droid still seems to work in term of power up, takes call, audio notifications, etc. EXCEPT screen is completely dead. Touchscreen still works, but I don't know where to touch without any visual.
Took out SD card and put it in my replacement Droid 2, works great. I want to sell the damaged phone for parts but I have two questions:
1. Is there personal data still stored somewhere in the Droid's internal memory (SD card removed)?
2. Is it possible (even for a dimwit like me) to wipe the personal data from the phone without being able to see anything on the screen?
Please help!
