Can't wireless tether Blackberry Playbook

I have a rooted Droid 1 and a rooted Droid X. I can wireless tether my Blackberry Playbook just fine with the Droid X but not with the Droid 1. The Playbook simply won't see the wifi from the Droid 1.

Any ideas as to why it won't work with my Droid 1?? Is something different about the two signals that I need change?
