i know there is a one click root for the X, which ive done on my X, but my wife has the original Droid and would like to be able to wireless tether. She has no desire for a custom ROM, just wants to root the phone in order to be able to wireless tether.
Is there an relatively easy way to simply root this phone? I know there is a search function here, but DAMN there is so much to sift thru. Could someone point me in the right direction? Surely someone here has done a "tutorial" on this.
