Can't tell if I'm getting a text late?

On my old phone (LG enV touch) it would tell me if I got a text late by opening the text and looking at the time sent, then the time I actually got the text. On this phone it doesn't seem like it's doing that is saying only when I got this text. This bothers me because I don't want to get a text like 20 minutes late unknowingly and then respond to it like I got it on time so the person thinks I'm uninterested in talking to them.

Any help would be appreciated

I have never heard of a phone telling you if you got a text late, honestly.

Really? see on my old phone, it would say on the preview of the text what time you recieved it, then when you opened it, scrolled to the bottom, it said what a different time (the time it was sent) so you could compare it to the time received to see if you got it lateee

Hmmm, well I've never had the LG Env but I've never had a phone give me the sent time for a text I received. I know android does not.

Ya I came from the env touch as well and although it kind of bugged me at first, I got used to it real quick.
