receive double or triple text messages

I sometimes receive messages 2 or three times, its not the double notification problem, i actually get the message multiple times. i usually get 2 at once or i get another one the next time i get a text. but lately i have had 2 people tell me they have gotten messages from me multiple times. i never had this issue before i got m droid. back in m dumb phone days never happened. anyone else? anyone know i fix?

are you using a different mms?


i use handcent and as we all know it isn't stand alone so i have to keep stock mms on phone, and if you don't shut notifications off in 1 then you get same message twice

as i said, it is not the double notification problem, i am receiving the message 2 or 3 times i get them hours apart sometimes. i repeat for all. NOT the double notification problem.

I'm having this too for months. Using handcent. Also my phone will resend random old txt messages to random people when I reboot. I have un installed and re installed. Anyone help??

Any update? Same problem

I.ve been having the same problem where I either receive double or triple messages or people text me back and say I sent two or three of the same messages. Only once has my phone sent an old message again from a previous day. I've never used a third party text messaging app and have a rooted Droid X but it happened before I rooted as well.... Is this Verizon or the X?
