Cant send mail

New to the droid wold. I've only had it for a few days. Just switched from using a crackberry. I'm having a problem sending email from my pop account. I am able to receive just fine. I was told by my ISP that it is because my X requires me to enter a user name and password for outbound SMTP authentication and it is not required by them. They suggested I download a new email app that will allow me to not use authentication. I can use gmail to send from but I want my reply address to match the original email address messages are sent to. Any fixes or recommendations on what email app I should install?

K9 will allow you to select your authentication type and easily handles multiple email accounts.

K-9 is a much, much better email app than the native one. Go here and down load the latest version as these guys are not very good about keeping the market version up-to-date: Downloads - k9mail - Project Hosting on Google Code
