cant get pass please wait while phone is being activated screen

hi im new to the forum my name is Brian. i have a droid bionic but i dont not have service with any carrier, i had been just using my wifi on it. this morning i did a factory reset on the phone and now it will not even let me get to the home screen again. its stuck on the screen that say please wait while phone is being activated, then after that says it didnt work. i wanna know if there is any way pass this and no i am not a verizon customer but i dont know y they would make a phone to where u cant even access contacts or even just play games on it. can somebody please help me?

You can tap the four corners and it will bypass that screen. I'll try and find a link.

Starting from the upper left corner touch the screen>upper right,touch>lower right,touch>lower left, touch. That should fix you up.
