Can't find Media file or other SD card files

I've done extensive searches in this forum to try to find an answer to this issue, but I haven't been able to find anything helpful.

I am trying to find the Media file on my Droid X. I can see other files there, but not the Media file. I've made sure that the SD card is mounted. I can't figure out why I'm not able to see the Media folder.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial or instuctions that might help?

/system/media is the default location, but you can mirror the sub-directory structure at /sdcard/media to add media to a non-rooted phone (or move media there to free space.) The media dir on your SD must be created by you first; it is not there by default.

Are there other files on SD you cannot find or are you unable to browse it from your phone at all?
