Can't figure out how to fix Blurry Screen

This has happened to my twice now. I was walking the first time and then I went to check my phone. The second time I was jogging using MyTracks to track my jog. The LockScreen is fine, but when I unlock the display screen is blurry and on the bottom it says Resize with a right and left arrow on the respective side of Resize and below that it says Move with a right and left arrow. The words Resize and Move are fine, but the rest of the screen is blurry even while scrolling through the different screens and apps. When I reboot it comes back normal. I don't know what triggers this and how to get out of it. Please help!

I am using a rooted Thunderbolt.
