can't decide my first android phone

Hi, I used to have iPhone 4 that was picked up seveal days after it was available, but now it was old and broken last week. I would change a new platform this time, even though i was pretty satisfied with iPhone and iOS, actually I felt rather sad to apart with it. Anyway I have read some reviews of Android phones but I'm not sure what to look at when choosing an android phone. It would be really helpful if you or anyone could help me find out a best

Removable battery---I consider myself an over average user but i don't know how to root a phone. So battery life, or rather, a removable battery is most important to me so far. I did a replacement installed for my i4 myself, because it cost me only roughly 20 usd to pick up one nice battery from mpj with tools but need to pay much more to replace one in Apple store! I mean non-removable battery is very inconvenient, i would like a spare battery option.

Camera---A nice camera is somewhat important. I do like shooting pictures but i already own a great Canon camera, so this is not my must.

Game---Love those small but interesting games like Tilt to Live or Panic Springs. But gaming isn't a big deal, as I am not going to install those huge cool games on my phone.

Does anyone have any advices? Or any suggestions for things I should focus on choosing android phone? I am totally new in Android.

p.s. I think the price is not the problem, and would be glad to have a phone with sleek and smooth elegant design

Samsung devices are really the only phones with removable batteries still, which narrows your search. The Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3 are Samsung's flagship devices at the moment. I would suggest going into the store to try them both out for yourself. The note 3 is massive, but if you can tolerate the screen size then that'd be my choice between the two.

If you are in United States and on Verizon, you can get droid maxx. In my opinion, the best smartphone out right now.

The droid maxx doesn't have a removable battery. That was essentially the only criteria that the OP stated they wanted.

I certainly don't think your recommendation is a bad one. I have a Moto X and couldn't be happier (obviously extremely similar to the Droid Maxx). But when someone mentions specifically "I mean non-removable battery is very inconvenient, I would like a spare battery option.", I tend to think they would really prefer a removable battery. Hence why I mentioned the Samsung phones. I would honestly prefer the Droid Mini over either Samsung phone, but that wouldn't seem to help the OP out too much considering they specifically asked only for phone recommendations with a removable battery. With this said, the removable battery thing is something I would certainly desire, but times are changing and the options are too limited in my opinion if you HAVE to have a removable battery. I was a little nervous getting the Moto X (without a removable battery) after coming from a Galaxy Nexus (with a removable battery) but I don't seem to mind it now. My only concern is the battery life in a year or two down the line.

I will have to recommend a Samsung as well since it fits most of your criteria, the plastic design won't matter if you're using a case. Phone battery power has come a long way but the bottom line is no smartphone has all day use (heavy). My note 3 usually gets me 4-6 hours of screen time with a solid hspa/LTE connection (much more with Wi-Fi). Im still waiting for Samsung to have the battery kit in stock :-(.

If you go with the note, please check it out in store first as it's a giant.

I also recommend the note 3 it's not as massive as ppl say (then again I have big hands so it's kind of a perfect fit lol) also the note 2 is also good, haven't had the S4 but have heard it's a decent phone. Can't really go wrong with any Samsung phone . And welcome to android (once ya get it)

Phone size is completely subjective. It is going to vary completely from one user to another based on their own preferences. That's why I had the suggestion of going to the store to try both phones out to get the best feel for what suits the OP the best.

Yeah! Nexus 5 is an amazing phone. Other than that Samsung Galaxy active is another beautiful piece of art.
