can't connect to free wifi

Hi, hope someone can tell me what wrong with my phone...


I have X2 for about 2 months and first month i have noo problem connecting to wifi ( secure liine and free non secure line) and after the phone updated, i can't connect to free wifi anymore. i tried to many different locations i.e. McDonald, Starbucks. but i still able to connect to my home internet when i type password.

does anyone has same problem?

I am not having any problems with connecting to public or private networks. Just to be sure I am connected to my neighbor's Wi-Fi while posting this. You may need to reboot your phone and try again.

Im having this problem for weeks already. talked to Verizon rep at the store, no answer. called customer service. no one can tell. I rebooted before. nothing changed...

There are several Wi-Fi management apps available that may help you connect. I suspect that there is a setting that has adjusted somehow and is keeping you from connecting. I am using one by kmansof. PM with your mobile # (or email) and I will "share" the app to you so you don't have to go hunting.
