Can't boot into recovery?

So I want to flash CM7 onto my DX, but for some reason I can't get into CM recovery. I have tried through BootstrapperX and the Rom Manager app. Any help.would be great.

If your on gingerbread... Uncheck debugging
Under settings/applications/about phone

Damn Straight about running out of beer! Thanks a lot...I was having a major issue with getting into that screen on my droid x. Simple solution...debugging off. You are a life saver. Thanks man.
