HELP!!! USB connect is not working and I can't reboot into recovery. Stuck at M Logo and it continually reboots! Holding power button and X doesn't work either. Pulling battery doesn't help.

I can boot so the phone does work but how can I backup or change something? Clockwork MOD lets me reboot but it just loops.

Am on SS5.3. I did post this issue there but am panicking as I live in a VERY rural area and need cell.

Again, phone is working but I am stuck on this ROM and can't USB connect or get into recovery.

Thanks!

EDIT: I just realized I posted this in Stock/Unrooted Droid section; it should be in Rooted Droid Section. Sorry!

Do you have ROM manager?

If so, flash alternate recovery then flash clockwork then alternate 3 times or so, ending on clockwork, then try reboot into clockwork.

Yes, I have ROM but I am getting error messages and won't allow me to flash alternate. :(

When I choose "Flash Alternate Recovery" SPRecovery .99.3b, I get the error message "An error occurred while flashing your recovery."

Wait..Hallelujah! I repeatedly flashed CW multiple times per your direction and it re-booted into Recovery when I chose that option.

I wonder if an updated version caused the error cause now I see orange colored instruction lines in CWR v3.1.0.2 instead of the green colored lines.

Thanks so much...this is such an invaluable forum!!
