Can't access Contacts from Gallery???

Hey Guys,

I can't figure out how to do something that seems like it should be very basic... feel like an idiot! LOL

If I use the Gallery application, select a picture, hit "share", the select "Messaging" from the pop up menu, I can see the picture attachment and I have a box with "To" in it.

From here, I simply want to select a person in my contacts list to message it to but for the life of me I can't get anything to come up here except the keyboard and that does me no good because I don't remember all the phone numbers!

What in the world am I missing??? Thanks!!! :D

Start typing in the name. Droid will do the rest. :)

Wow! Thanks for the lightning fast reply :)

Who would have thunk to start typing in letters where numbers are supposed to go. LOL

So evidently there isn't a way to bring up a "list", eh? I suppose there is no NEED for a list if it fills it in automatically. :D

If you are using handcent next on the right top where you would type the name there is a +. Hit that and you will see the list of contacts. You can check off who you want to send the picture to and then hit the soft back button to take you back to the message with the phone numbers on there

Thanks, warrior21, I'll check that out. Been using the stock messaging app but hear alot about Handcent so will have to check that out.
