cannot add cities to weather app in V1.2

Just flashed liquid gingersense 1.2 when it came out a couple days ago. i cannot for the life of me get it to add cities to the weather app. local weather is working fine, but when i go to add a city nothing comes up.

am i alone on this one or is it a known issue?
