Can you save desktop settings?

I'm about to flash SC 2.8. Is there a way to save my current mod, reboot to at a later time without having to setup my screens with apps and widgets? Something simular to a restore mode.

I know LauncherPro has that option. But it dont restore widgets. I believe ADW has that option, too. But if you dont use either now, your going to have to set them up first after installing. After that restoring your homescreens is easy.
