Can you change "M" start up emblem on D2?

I know you can change the image on Droid, but I was wondering can you also hack and change the start up Motorola image on the Droid 2? If yes, is it the same tutorial?

You cannot change it.it is in the boot loader that is not cracked yet

Actually there is one way I know of. There is an app from JRummy for purchase I believe is called DX/D2 logo changer, there's a few to choose from preinstalled.

the sbf returns you to stock. stock everything. boot logo included.

from what i've been told and read the extra pixel on each side determines the rest of the color you see on the screen. i've never experimented with a larger image size, but i imagine others have and found this the best way. never could hurt to try though...

Its the first pixel in the upper left corner I believe that determines screen color

I also believe it's the file size that is important. Maybe try a lower res pic but bigger in size?
