Can you assign a shortcut to a phrase?

I'm getting tired of re-entering my email on lots of websites. Is it possible to assign a shortcut (say menu button + E) to automatically type my email where the cursor is on the screen?

I, too, hate having to enter my email address manually. What I did was install an application called ClipNote. This app runs in the status bar and automatically records everything you copy to the clipboard. Then, once it's in the list, you can add clips to your "Favorites" (long-press the clip, select View, then tap the star icon).

Then whenever you need your email address - without closing out of your current app - pull down the notifications, tap the Clipboard Monitor, tap Favories, then tap your email address. This copies it to your clipboard and you can paste it into the email address field of whatever form you're filling out.
