Can my wifi xoom turn to 3g with my sim card

I hope someone can help me here. I bought a Wifi only xoom but i se it has the slot for a sim card as well as sd card can i somehow enable the 3g on it after inserting my phones 3g sim card in it?

You can't. Just because it has the slot does not mean it has the radio.

Can i in any way make it a 3g enabled xoom I dont want to have to buy another one? Maybe install whatever the company doesnt when its wifi only?

Not with anything you can buy. You could probably salvage the radio from another one and, with some soldering skills, maybe make it work. But for all practical purposes, no.

Another solution is tethering it to your phone if you got the hotspot plan

Other than soldering a radio into it don't think there's anyway it can become 3g

Ive heard of kit you can buy to turn a wifi xoom into a 3g xoom but idk where you'd find it.
