Can I use unlocked Droid RAZR on Sprint?

I love the new RAZR, but I'm currently a Sprint customer, and my family would have to switch to Verizon, which is way more expensive, so that's out of the question. I know LTE isn't at Sprint yet, but would the phone run on their network in a 3G mode? I know that the whole WIMAX issue is involved, but I'm not sure how. Could anyone comment on this?

I don't believe Verizon phones use sim cards, so I don't really know how this would work.
