Something seems strange. I was running 0.7.0, all solid, and the camera performance seemed almost instantaneous.
Factory reset, install 1.0.0. Everything very solid (thank you devs!!) and all apps running fine. However, the camera now seems to lag similar to the stock 2.1 (push shutter button and at least 1 sec lag before the pic is taken).
Any thoughts? Anyone else notice this?
