I am a new Motorola Droid owner, just got it from Buy.com through the discount information available at Dealrocker.com. It's really an amazing phone and impressed with the overall performance. I just take some pictures from phone camera and realized that picture quality is average. Is there any application or software that can improve the picture quality?

Thanks in advance.

Camera app

I like the app "Vignette", even though the full version is free you can test it out with the demo. Since it adds variety and more options to the camera, it's fun to use, in my opinion, and totally worth the money (I think a dollar?) Anyway, hope that helps. I haven't really found a better camera app yet.

The main thing to remember is that the camera does not do well in low light, the flash helps but is limited in range. With ample lighting you can get some really nice pictures.

What exactly are you looking to improve? An app can only do so much. Some limitations are due to the hardware (such as low light performance, etc).
