Camcorder jumpy

Running Droid Concepts 12 with CorCor series 2 250-800mhz sv(only up to 600mhz though). When I use the camcorder with high quality I get constant freezes(very jumpy when recording and the actual video is also jumpy). Also have a hard time stopping it. Any ideas?
