camcorder issue

I have been fighting an on going camcorder issue with my D1...

My ROM of choice is the LFY series and after multiple tweeks with that rom and various camera.apk's I decided to try another ROM for testing purpose. The newest version of UD also gives me the same issue despite the awesome UI of the camera app.

So being true to LFY I am back.

When recording video it seems to hiccup during the record process. it skips a few frames while playing back on pc or the phone in the same spot.

I am thinking I have hardware issue with the camera..
It's still under warranty...

Is there anything I can do/try before letting verizon have it?

update I found 2 apps on the market SensorVideoPlayer and anCorder beta..

I had flawless recordings on both but did not like the resolutions and such they offer.


Back to trying to figure out where the software went bad...

After more troubleshooting I have realized this is just happening on high quality. Low quality seems to be just fine.
