Call from an email

How do you call someone from an email received. I have an email from someone who has their phone number in their signature. When i touch/hold the phone number, DX either highlights the address or the email address, thinking I want to add the address into my contacts, or create an email. DX does not allow me to highlight the phone. It would be nice if I could call someone from their email using the phone number in their signature (ie; if they are not already in my contact folder).

Tapping on a phone number in Gmail or Touchdown opens my dialer and fills in the number.

Number is formated as (xxx)xxx-xxxx

Agreed. It should be able to pick up a telephone number, unless it is in a funky format. I'm not sure if the Blur email app has that ability though. I bet the popular K9 email app does though.
