calendar question

I have a droid x phone, i am trying to figure out why i can not get the calendar to sync with my outlook like the e mail does, even the e mial does not do it on the schedule that i told it to, i have to go hit sync every time i want to view it. please if anyone else can help that would be awesome. i hate missing my appointments.......

I have a rooted Droid so my experience may be different. Tap menu, tap settings, tap accounts & sync and make sure auto sync is checked. Tap your account and make sure that the calendar is checked.
You may want to consider using Touchdown. It is specifically for Exchange. It is a paid app but they offer a 30 day trial.

i do not see any option for auto sync? Heck i dont understand your deal about rooted? what does that mean lol. sorry i am not a computer guru by a long shot.

Can you find your account settings? If so, the sync options may be there. Rooting means hacking into your OS. Here are a few links that my help
