Browser text re-wrapping

I'm a big fan of the stock HTC browser. I love the pinch out to tabs function. However, I really don't like how it fixes the text for EVERYTHING. When I'm just trying to pinch-to-zoom into a picture or something, it automatically jumps away from what I was trying to look at. I would prefer just double tap to do it, and for pinch-to-zoom to solely zoom in on what I'm trying to look at.

Am I out of luck? Might be time to invest in Dolphin browser or something...

there's always the Firefox 4 RC, not sure how well it works but it may help with the problems you're having.

This HTC browser is great! I'm switching from a Moto Droid to HTC TB. On my Droid I used Dolphin browser exclusively and never used the default browser. This HTC browser is so good, I just uninstalled Dolphin! But I guess I'll see how long this will last. Maybe I'll reinstall Dolphin later, but so far so good because I'm really liking it so far!

yea Ive been using the stock one on the TB. also coming from a OG droid using the Dolphin browser. so far no major complaints on the stock one
