So far I have had 3 random reboots.

My research shows that a format of the sd card and factory reset can fix this.

Anyone else experience this and have suggestions?

Thanks

That never happened to my X...do a factory reset on it and wipe cache too. Hopefully that will fix it. Boot into recovery by holding Home + Power.
When the triangle appears, then hit the Search button.
Navigate down to wipe data/factory reset, select it with camera, say “yes.” Do that and wipe cache while your at it. I did that when I got my used X off Ebay.

Yep just as Leo said, a factory reset is your best bet.

Sounds like your processor is overheating??

Does it reboot when you say: play music, surf the interwebs, and download some apps from the Market?

only when i make a call.

But recently it did it while it was syncing w\my apps- (rebooted 3 times in a row)

re-formated everything- no luck.

Off to the Verizon store tomorrow *doubt they have any replacements in stock

I hate to have to tell you this but it sounds like your processor is overheating. I'm far from an expert; but my Dad's did the same thing. Only it would reboot over and over again. Until I did a battery pull and then let it cool down and then reboot it. It would work fine for awhile and then it would start rebooting over and over again. But again, I'm no expert.

Hey, you're the one who read it.

Thanks.

Whatever it is, its strange its happening the day i received the phone.

I cannot be without my phone for a few days since i use it for work; hopefully i CAN WALK into a store and have them swap it out.
