nenolod found a security problem with how Motorola locks their devices. He contacted them several times & they didn't reply... so he gave the keys to the public. He no longer wants to be involved with the development of it, so it's up to the community to use the tools he provided to get the device completely unlocked & running real custom roms. Some people are questioning if the keys are legit, that isn't 100% confirmed yet.

Just seen a tweet by Koush saying the keys are as real as Santa Claus...

DX Rubix v2.0.1
Thirdeye Themed

But, Santa Claus isn't real....so....I guess the keys are vaporware then.

Koush provided a custom recovery image but also said that keys were a farce and it seems as though Birdman confirmed that

nenolod's response to this was that it has multiple keys.

Unbelievable!

I just got all excited and. now its all been yanked away again.

Screw Motorola and this pos phone. I was at Verizon yesterday looking at the Thunderbolt. I may buy it just to get away from Motorola.

I'm thinking it's legit, or Motorola wouldn't be throwing around legal threats.

Sholes signing key leak explained
The keys can be cracked using Mathematica. Read up on how the Elgamal signature scheme works.
TL;DR: k = s - sha1sum(data)

Above formula will yield signing keys on vulnerable phones due to motorola botching their signing keys.
