Boot Animation and Upgrading to Jelly Bean?

Simple Question, I am rooted on 4.0.4 and have installed a new boot animation. Will this prevent Jelly Bean from installing on my phone? I have heard that some tweaks on your phone can give you errors when trying to update the OS.

So you went back to the factory set boot animation for the MAXX I am assuming?

Yea just be safe, move it to your external card for the time being, restore the default one and then update... Also be sure to protect the root and temp unroot with voodoo before you OTA. After the install is done, just move the animation back.

Just an update, you really don't need to protect root and temp unroot, since the new Jelly Bean .16 is rootable with the same RAZR_Blade Root exploithttp://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/6924-root-achieved-for-jb-ota-razrmaxx-xt912-razr-blade/ by Dan Rosenberg. I've done it this evening and it went off without a hitch.

To be honest not sure if I am going to keep root. When I rooted ICS I started to have issues like random reboots and freeze ups. There is not really a good enough reason for me to want to root again.
