Bluetooth disconnecting

tannins

Member
Didn't see this discussed, so...has anyone encountered this problem; my phone used to work fine connecting via Bluetooth to my car, but now it won't stay connected. It will connect for a few seconds or even a minute and then drop it.
It worked fine for 2 years, now this. Phone problem or car problem? Thanks.

Phone problem, kind of. Problem is most current vehicles are Bluetooth 4.0 or have been updated to 4.0. There seems to be a bug when a 3.0 Bluetooth phone is used with a 4.0 Bluetooth vehicle system. I've tested this across 4 different brand vehicles.
