Black screen??

So Ive had my tab for a few weeks, no major falls or anything and all of the sudden when I press the side button to turn it on the keys light up but the screen doesnt, its very clearly still on but the screen wont work. i have to power cycle it to get it to work. Anyone had this? Any ideas or fixes for it? Its not rooted (yet) so its still running all stock roms etc and no bloatware has been removed.

I had similar issues with droid incredible when i had an app to customize the way my phone looked and i had to do a factory reset. I recommend that if you just got it to talk to tech support (they will probably have you do factory reset) and keep an eye on it if you're in the 14 day window and it continues to do that then they will replace it for a new one and after that it will be certified preowned. Hope this helps
