(help) Screen just went black red led still on

Hey all i was just laying in bed texting and all of a sudden my screen went black. iv battery pulled and everything when i press the power button the red led lights up for about two seconds. When i put it on the charger the little light where you plug it in doesnt turn on. It was on the charger when this happened if this matters. Has any body had this problem i cant do anything. It seems like the screen is shot...

Was your battery running low before this happened? Try charging using a different charger, e.g. just a usb cable in a computer.
