How do I keep my Bionic up to speed? You know, running smoothly ...

I guess the main thing is if you phone starts to slow down or act stange than do a FDR and let your phone re-setup. I am not sure of much else we can do. Install the OTA when we get them.

Ever since I uninstalled Look Out and Juice Defender my phone is lightening fast. Both of these apps kill data connection. Look Out invades your privacy. Look Out constantly runs scanning your emails, files, everything. A geek at Verizon told me that Look Out is dangerous.

I was told by @vzwsupport that Look Outs antivirus conflicts with the preloaded anti virus on Bionic. Once I deleted it Ive had much less force closes and can say it is a bit speedier.

Reboot your phone occasionally. I reboot mine at least once a week. It clears the vm heap. Find a good app for clearing old cache files as these can also slow down performance.

I agree with restarting your phone once a week

I use Adroid Assistant. I got the Nook 2 Android card, for my wife's Nook and it was an installed and recommended app on there. It allows you to clean-up/free resources, on demand and has several other features. I put the app on my Bionic, back in Sept. when I bought the phone.
