I think it should have decent battery life with the standard and I plan on getting that extended battery.

With laptop docks showing up according to Droid Life, I'm not surprised they have info on accessories now.

That extended battery is got to be huge

lol..It probably will be. I got the real fat one for my Droid 1. I didnt mind cuz the battery life was insane with it. I think if the battery is longer for the Bionic, it might not bee too fat. The Droid 1 battery has a short, small form factor.

Can wait to see what the extended battery looks like fitted on the bionic. 60 percent more battery life sounds nice.

I remember hearing the ext battery would fill that hump void and make for a flat back

I remember hearing that too. If that's the case, then that's fine with me. I'll get double the battery and no hump at the cost of a little thickness! dancedroid

The only downside for me is if the extended battery is not compatible with the car dock. I use a car dock pretty often

I doubt it is but I guess the rational is if you are using docks, you are charging a lot of the time and don't need an extended battery....

But . . . but what if my hipster friends at Starbucks make fun of my extra thick phone!!! :icon_ cry: I better just play it safe and wait for a different phone to come out.

I think you should wait for different friends to come out lol.... who am I kidding, what kind of friend wouldn't care how thick my phone is

I didn't think about that....hmmm. I guess it's not that big of a deal for me since I would only use the car dock if I was on the road and needed gps.
