Best way to back up texts?

So what is the best way to back up and restore text messages for the droid x? Every app in the market will restore them but when they do they restore them in the wrong order so its kinda pointless. Ive contacted multiple of the devs and they say that its a Droidx specific problem and nothing that they can do to fix it. So what do you guys use that works?

I use handcent though and I'd rather not have to pay to do this. Any suggestions for me using handcent?

Go sms pro is free and I love it. You can schedule backs, it has a private box that is under lock and you can encrypt your messages
