Best texting app that use WiFi?

I have an htc rezound in an area where I can barely get 1X let alone any sort of G. I need an app that can use the WiFi in my house because I can hardly send messages and it took me 22 minutes yesterday to send a damn picture message. Help please. I call and call and they do nothing. It's times like these that I HATE Verizon

I use Heywire. Free works on any data connection and supplies a different text phone number from the phone. Texts are free! Just have to ignore the adds on the bottom of the screen.

I have zero cell service in my place. I bought a Verizon Network extender, now I have a full 4 bar signal. It runs on any hi speed internet connection using an ethernet cable that plugs into your WiFi router. It also make the Text messages work like normal.

I considered this but I don't want to have to buy one of those

Might be possible to call and complain to Verizon that you had service at your house before but the new phone doesn't. They may offer a discount on the extender ..

When I had it activated, the tech person in the phone told me they were coming out with a 4G Network extender, he didn't have a date or price.

If your on Wifi already I don't know why you would want or need 4G.

After taxes and fees I paid $265 for the network extender.

I did that and they sold it to me at their cost.

There are other cell phone extenders out there; some active and some passive. Basically you install an antenna and booster. They don't require a network connection. There are some at Cell Phone Antennas & Amplifiers Signal Boosters,Digital,Cellular,Cellphone Antennas
