Best DX screen protector?

Sup all, new here but i'll keep it short and sweet. Almost decided on a Droid X vs a Fascinate for my very first smartphone. Seeings how this thing is gonna be an investment for the near future, I wanna take care of the screen and keep it in good shape. Whats the best, proven screen protector I can put on the DX?

Skinomi. Can get just the glass, or protect your whole droid. Cheap (11-20 dollars) with a lifetime warranty.

Phantom Skinz. Best quality of any protector brand. You can get full body or just the screen, clear or matte, and they even have colors. Also, Phantom Skinz doesn't get the "orange peel" that most screen protectors get. I've used them all, and I really think Phantom Skinz is the best.

I know the invisible shield. Trust me, its not as good as the Phantom Skinz. Listen, all the "films" (Phantom skinz, invisible shield, zagg, wrapsol, etc.) advertise they can protect against a blender or drill like that. The difference in quality comes in the nuance. Here is what I mean. The Invisible Shield has a really bad "Orange Peel" effect. To see what I mean, google "Invisable Shield Orange Peel". The Phantom Skinz don't have the "orange peel".

New Arrivals - Skinomi TechSkin™ for Motorola Droid X

No orange peel, had it since august. I only got the glass side, for $12 (my bad earlier). Keep the box, that way you can send it back if it does get some kind of damage. I haven't had anything to date. I don't keep it in a holster or case. Just out and about or in my pocket.

Absolutely false. The films that you have to apply with solution (Phantom Skinz, Invisible Shield, Zagg, Wrapsol, etc.) offer superior protection to any sticker-style protector. Not to mention all those sub-$5 ones I've tried from ebay (on numerous different phones over the years) are NEVER cut precisely. If you want to protect your investment, don't scrimp on its protection.

I have the steinheil ultra crystal. I hate the rubbery feel of the invisible shield (had that on my droid), and this one feels just like glass. It's been a while, but I think it was around $18 with shipping. It's not indestructible, but it holds up nicely to being thrown in my pocket with keys, which for me is the most important reason for a screen protector. Even when it does get dinged up (your screen is still flawless), they ship two with an order, so you can replace it with another.

+1 for the Steinheil Ultra Crystal. It's cut to fit the X, and it covers the entire screen. Smooth feel, and it's practically undetectable. Love it.
