I would recalibrate once a month or if I had any battery related" issues" to see if that cleans it up. I agree with not sweating it. Phone settings for low battery turn off probably keep it from getting too low. I would bet phone probably turns off below a certain voltage and not based on stats which could give a false indication of actual level of charge.
