I don't believe such an animal exist. I believe it can only reflect what the Droids native battery app says.

I could be wrong, but I sure haven't heard of any. Keep in mind there are thousands of apps so I suppose anything is possible. ;)

Free Battery provides estimate in 5% increments (e.g. 85%). However, once you understand that battery use is NOT linear, the value of such monitors is considerably diminished. For example, there is absolutely no guarantee that the same apps running in any particular time slice will drain the battery at the same rate. i.e. the difference between 80% and 70% is not the same as the difference between 60% and 50%.

Thus, the value of a battery monitor that reports percentages in 1% increments is nil.

I've tried a lot of battery widgets and apps, but my favorite one is Battery Widget. Here's why:

1. It is only a 1x1 widget, which is nice because it doesn't take up your whole screen.

2. When you click on the on-screen widget, you are able to quickly change your display settings and turn on or off your wifi, GPS, and bluetooth.

Any other app or widget doesn't really allow you to do what I mentioned in number 2, which is kinda nice. Try it out.

+1 battery left also. Accuracy is based solely on if you 'train' it according to the Dev suggestions. I have been using it for about 3+ weeks and have an accuracy of +/- 4 percent. It comes with a 1x1 widget that gives percentage left and time left in hrs. And minutes. Clicking on the widget allows access to battery y usage info, battery condition, and usage history.

I gotta go with Battery Left as well. This one seems to be the one for the extended battery as well.
