Best all around rom (battery life, data connectivity)

Alright, tired of Liberty 3.0. Apparently that is a dead end road for updates. I'm wondering what everybody is running for roms now. I'm starting to have data connectivity issues, just starting to see this rom showing it's age I suppose. Plus I'm just ready to try something new.

Tying out the liquid ICS v1.6 ROM for my droid x. It has some minor qwerks but it runs really smooth and fast.

Install ics 232 leak. It will help with data connection and is the smoothest, most stable rom to ever run on the bionic.

Research into the many threads concerning the ics leaks and you will figure it out.

In that case try to take the ota updates up to 905. If u cant just use timmys method and have the ics zip and 905 zip on your external sd card before you go into his process.

I don't have a stock .886 backup. Just liberty. Can I do a .905 update zip to ics zip? Without loosing root?
