Beats audio with all headphones?

I was under the impression that only beats branded headphones would allow the beats audio enhancement feature on the rezound. I plugged my car audio in and it allowed beats, and now listening with a pair of ableplanet headphones it also allows beats. I could swear that I've used other headphones and it didn't give me the option. Was there an update that allowed all headphones to have this feature? It's not a bad thing, I'm just curious.

Beats always worked with anything. You just needed to use the stock music player.

I have poweramp and I don't get the beats notification. Not sure if I really need it as I use the equalizer on Poweramp and that does the trick. I do like the ear buds!

It's not a notification like on stock. You have to go to the equalizer then hit vol/bal in the bottom left, you'll see it on the right. I use the equalizer and beats together, sounds pretty good to me!

Hi, just wanted to make a quick introduction. I can't wait for this phone to come out and will preorder as soon as it becomes available at Verizon. I've been waiting to pick up an android phone, and this one is sure to have it all.

It does not work with Bluetooth, at least not mine.

Says sound enhancement us not available with Bluetooth.

Unless there us some other setting I'm missing.

I'm using Jaybirds, works fine.
Have you updated Power Amp in the last few weeks? It added support in an update a few weeks back on mine.
